November and December flew by, but we thoroughly enjoyed time spent with family and friends. We spent Thanksgiving in Greenville with Lance's parents while my parents spent the holiday in South Dakota with my sisters. Unfortunately we were attacked by the flu bug that week and couldn't enjoy all of the Thanksgiving food, but we also didn't gain much weight;) Christmas was crazy as usual and we enjoyed time spent with the Booth family from Nebraska and the entire Bowman clan. Santa was very good to us, but Vada had the flu bug this time and ran a fever during Christmas Day that had her cuddling with mommy most of the day.
We feel very blessed to be welcoming another child into our lives and making Vada a big sister. The sex of the baby will again be a surprise until the day of arrival...call us old fashioned, but we love the suspense!
Here are some stats on Vada as of lately: She is weighing in at 23lbs and has quite the personality. She is saying 15+ words consistently; only eats her meals at the BIG girl table; eats 2 pounds of grapes by herself each week; LOVES, LOVES, LOVES her daddy, Elmo, babies and dancing; enjoys playing with her new grocery cart and play food; now opens the refrigerator door by herself when she is hungry (always) and she adores her Aunt Holli (or Olli, as she calls her).
Enjoy some of our pictures...
V was a flower for Halloween - of course she had to carry a watering can to hold her candy
Vada and I went to visit the South Dakota gang in mid November. We had a blast!!!
