She thoroughly loves being outside playing fetch with Andi, on a slide or chasing bubbles. We have been so blessed with an amazing spring and have been outside everyday. She has become so independent while playing and it is so fun to watch her learn. She knows all of her animal sounds; body parts and doesn't allow you to give her a kiss without also giving her a hug or sing the "itsy bitsy spider" without the hand motions. As with most little girls she is also becoming obsessed with her baby dolls by pushing them in the stroller, putting them to sleep and having high pitched conversations with them. It does take her a little bit to warm up to strangers, but after avoiding eye contact for a couple of minutes she will soon be asking them to play her favorite game, hide and seek. We are also pleased to announce that although not everyday she is using the big girl potty on occasion. This really gives us hope to have only one baby in diapers by the end of the summer.
We have been busy since our last post. We spent a weekend in Illinois with my mom, Holli and Haley; celebrated my 29th birthday; 5 days in Orlando with Lance for a convention; and another weekend with my family in March for the Ohio Beef Expo selling "Bowman's Famous Apples and Bananas" a tradition for close to 20 years.
Over the next month we will celebrate Lance's birthday; enjoy Easter weekend in Nebraska with the Riegle/Booth families; 5 days in Florida with my parents for Vada and I while Lance will go to Austin, TX for work. Luckily we are scheduled at home during the month of May to get prepared for our babe's arrival.
