Hello All!
It has been an eventful and exciting last
4-5 months for our family. We got moved into our new home at the
beginning of October and were able to close on our Indy house 2 days
after! What a blessing:) We have now been in the new house for
almost 4 months now and have since been to Orlando for a family/work trip and a
retreat for Lance and myself to New Orleans for another work function and enjoyed
Thanksgiving and Christmas with our families.
Vada and Sully are loving the new house
and all of the places they have found to hide or run in cirlces. We love
hearing the pitter-patter of their little feet and the giggles as they chase
one another! Our home is exactly what we hoped it would be and we love
that we get to watch our family grow into it. Speaking of growing, we are
adding to our family!
BABY RIEGLE #3 will be here in JULY!
We are so thrilled to welcome another
child and blessing to our family! Vada is super excited to have a new
baby and of course Sully has no idea how his world will change in 6 months, but
I have no doubt this baby will be welcomed with open arms and many kisses! I am feeling well and really excited to be in the 2nd trimester.
I must say, I just spent the last 45
minutes writing this huge update about everything that has happened in the last
5-6 months with our family. Trip updates, Christmas gifts received, what
the kids have been up to etc only to have it not save:( I will skip all
of the boring details this time and just give a quick version...
Lance has been a rockstar at work over the
last year. We just celebrated him being in the top 3 sales people at
Marvin Johnson and Associates. In June he will celebrate being there 11
years! He loves his clients like family and works very hard for them and
our family! He has really enjoyed being outdoors at our new house riding
the 4 wheeler and using his chainsaw. Luckily for him, we have 9 acres and
tons of trees:)
Vada is growing into a beautiful and smart
little girl. At 3 1/2 she is so compassionate and loving to her little
brother. She is can be meek and mild one minute and full of life and
energy the next. She loves being pulled behind the 4 wheeler on a tube in
the snow, playdoh, building with blocks, baking with mom, coloring and drawing
and any type of board game. The
highlight of her fall was our trip to Disney.
She talks about it every day, multiple times a day. I will be sure to share some pictures of our
trip so you can witness the joy. Along
with loving her little brother, she likes princesses, Doc McStuffins and Bubble
Guppies (a love she has now passed on to Sully). Christmas was amazing and watching her open
gifts was so much fun. Every gift was
greeted with “This is what I have always wanted!”
Sully is almost 19 months old now.
Wearing 3T cloths and still around the 90% for his weight, it is fun to
feed this kid, but our grocery bill is taking a pretty big hit! He also loves Doc McStuffins and Bubble
Guppies (cartoons). One of his first
real words was “Bubble”. When I walk
into a room he yells, “Mama!” and runs to give me a hug. He is such a ham! There is a real difference between boys and
girls until you live it, it is hard to understand. He is constantly making us laugh and worry! He is really into books, building, wrecking
his sister’s latest building project, climbing and throwing anything that looks
like a ball. His Christmas was fun as
well, but he was more into unwrapping the gifts rather than worrying much about
what was inside. While he loves being
outside, he won’t go out the door without a hat on. You forget about the months of tantrums
leading up to the terrible two’s, but we just try to keep remembering
everything is a phaseJ
We have been so blessed with good health, a beautiful home and
precious time with family and friends.
Now, here are some of our favorite pictures over the last 5-6 months.
XOXO
