Vada is dangerously in love with Sully! We love watching her obsession with him and all things baby. She loves holding him, kissing him and helping with diaper changes - she is a natural BIG sister!
It has been amazing to watch Sullivan grow and change over the last month. We aren't sure how anyone cannot believe in God after watching a child come into the world! The miracle that takes place and the life that automatically steals your heart has you feeling so complete and in love. I have really enjoyed watching Sully's eyelashes come in and all of the little changes that are taking place as he grows. Our litte man weighed in at 7lbs 4oz at his 1 week appointment and at the end of 4 weeks was up to 11lbs 9oz. He is a healthy and happy baby and we are so lucky to call him ours!
On July 14th we celebrated Vada's 2nd birthday. These days she has us doubled over laughing most of the time. Her vocabulary is incredible and repeats EVERYTHING she hears. This summer she loves swimming, riding her bike and anything she can do outside. Her daily activities include coloring; playing with her dollhouse; dancing to anything with a beat; playing basketball and soccer with dad; taking care of her baby dolls; watering flowers and feeding Andi. She is obsessed with popsicles, watermelon and slices of american cheese, After a little delay we can also say that we continue to work on potty training and she is doing VERY well. She loves to sing and will belt out the ABC's, Bah-Bah Black Sheep and Twinkle Twinkle Little Star at home and in public:)
As our family grows we are also on the search for a new house. We are hoping to find our "dream" house in Columbus, IN. Although we haven't found the perfect fit yet, we are hopeful to be making a move within the next year or so. We have a very busy fall ahead of us. We will go to Hilton Head at the beginning of September and Austin, TX at the end of the month.
