Hello All!
Lance and I decided we needed to start a blog to share our latest blessing with the rest of the world. We welcomed Vada Rene on July 14th at 4:54pm. Vada was 5lbs 4 oz and 19inches long. As you can imagine mom and dad are completely smitten and are enjoying every minute (sleep or no sleep)!
Vada did give us a couple of surprises early on. She was a week and a half early and she was a GIRL! Lance and I were convinced we were having a boy strictly on analyzing heart rates and old wives tales. God really does have a sense of humor! He must have been laughing really hard when he saw our faces at the announcement of a girl. Regardless, we are so thrilled to have a daughter who is happy and healthy (and mom is excited to have someone to share shoes with!)
